Piano tuning is the process of adjusting each of the 220+ strings inside the piano to rest at extremely precise tensions
All pianos need to be tuned at least *once per year.* Tuning twice per year is highly recommended (once in the summer and once in the winter, or once in the fall and once in the spring), but a minimum of once per year will suffice for most pianos.
